Warning signs of heart disease
Heart disease can show several symptoms. These may be present for some time then disappear. Sometimes the symptoms will start showing gradually over time.Therefore if you or a loved one are at risk of developing heart disease, you should pay careful attention to certain warning signs.
- A pain that suddenly appears in the center of the chest. This may last for a few minutes. It may go away and then return.
- Pain in the neck, jaws, shoulder, arms or back
- Pain that feels like burning, squeezing, heaviness, tightness or pressure
- A feeling that you are having an upset stomach
- Having difficulty breathing
- Feeling of vomiting
- Perspiring
- Fear
- Anxiety
- Feeling dizzy or light-headed
