Relieve constipation with herbs | Herbal constipation relief
Constipation and stool irregularity can be corrected with herbal remedies. Certain ayurvedic herbs work as gentle laxatives without being habit forming and any side effects.
Haritaki or Chebulic myrobalan is very well known for its gentle laxative properties. It helps to purge the body of toxins and aids in the smooth evacuation of feces. Haritaki is a component of Triphala - an ayurvedic compound made of 3 herbs which aid in digestion and detoxification.
Trivruth (Ipomoea turpethum) is another ayurvedic herb that is a mild laxative. It detoxifies the system, helps in assimilation and digestion of food, removes bloating and flatulence and helps the body feel light with a fresh appetite and good digestion.
Kasamarda / (Cassia occidentalis) and Kakamachi (Solanum nigrum)- are two important ingredients in Liv.52 and have diuretic and laxative properties along with protective effects on the liver.
Herbolax is an ayurvedic formulation composed of the above herbs along with licorice, ginger, false black pepper and wild chicory. It is a very effective but safe herbal laxative that helps to regularize bowel movements and relieves chronic constipation.
